Mallorca 7-1 Recreativo Huelva HT : 5 - 1

Half Time The Score Is 5-1 and no Recreativo player was sent off thru out the game it is 11 against 11

Juan Arango smashed a hat-trick as rampant Real Mallorca hammered Recreativo Huelva on Sunday. The midfielder started the ball rolling in the 18th minute and two goals apiece for Daniel Guiza and Iglesias Valero gave the hosts a commanding lead by half-time.Arango grabbed two more goals in the space of three second-half minutes to complete the rout, reducing Marco Ruben's 40th-minute effort to a mere consolation for the visitors. The heavy defeat heightens Recreativo's relegation worries as they remain in the bottom three, while Mallorca move up to 11th.Intriguingly, the opening exchanges contained scant attacking activity before the home side burst into life after opening the scoring. It was a set-piece which proved to be Recreativo's undoing, Ariel Ibagaza's corner nodded on by Jose Carlos Nunes into the path of Arango, who headed home. Three minutes later Mallorca doubled their lead when Guiza received the ball in space on the left side of the penalty area and coolly slotted past goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino.Guiza put the hosts firmly in the driving seat in the 31st minute when he collected a pass from Iglesias Valero and placed a low shot under Sorrentino. And the contest was all but over in the 37th minute.

Ibagaza was again involved in the build up, feeding Valero inside the box who fired home.Recreativo were shell-shocked by this point but they managed to pull a goal back in the 40th minute when Jorge Carlos Martins' corner was met by Ruben, who finished from close range.Within a minute they were back to four goals behind. Guiza turned provider by releasing Valero and he calmly waited for Sorrentino to advance before rolling the ball under him.Recreativo's luck did not improve in the second half and just two minutes after the restart Guiza played in Arango who struck a firm shot into the centre of the goal.Arango completed the scoring and his hat-trick three minutes later when Ibagaza, who deserved to be on the scoresheet after an all-action display, sent him through one-on-one with Sorrentino and the midfielder finished with aplomb.Tuni Adrover had a chance to add to the already heavy scoreline in the 77th minute but his shot from the left was well saved by Sorrentino in the last of the action.
